The session aims to discuss and expound on existing bilateral support for the NAP process as well as the available support instruments. It also aims to explore how countries can improve the matchmaking of support needs and available offers, and to determine how the NAP Global Network can enhance coordinated support. A best practice example on donor coordination for climate change will be showcased.

The session will discuss the roles of civil society in the process to formulate and implement NAPs as well as showcase success stories of civil society engagement in national adaptation plans and programs.

A discussion on how to leverage enhanced communications as a structural partner in the process to formulate and implement NAPs. Country experiences would help substantiate the discussion, particularly the discussion on how country specific communication strategies could support adaptation-planning efforts.
