Boniface holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems and is pursuing a postdoctoral study in Data Science at TU Delft University, Netherlands. He is a scholar and practitioner with an extensive experience in international, public, and private sector organizations, and he is a Certified Systems Engineer and Data Science expert. Boniface is the Director of ICT at Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO). He previously served as the Chief of IT at the US Army Research Directorate-Africa, and Management Information Specialist at Care International and Coca-Cola, respectively. Boniface has conceptualized and implemented several projects in the Agriculture and Health Sectors. He has identified innovative digital ways to address needs and challenges in the agricultural sector. He has brought transformative changes in the Agriculture sector, and millions of farmers benefit from these digital solutions. He has contributed to the growth of organizations by leading technological innovation and citizen service delivery. International Position: He is the Chair of the Committee on Data of the International Council for Science (CODATA) Agricultural Data Task Group in France. A member of the Technical Advisory Committee on Data Science for Social Determinants, New York University (NYU) and Advisory Board Member of Higher Education Institutions Generating Holistic And Transformative Solutions (HEIGHTS).
