The Race to Resilience campaign from the High-Level Champions aims to catalyse a step-change in global ambition for climate resilience, putting people and nature first, and articulating non-state partner organizations from around the world around a 4 billion goal. The R2R Resilience Framework is a pioneering, world-leading approach for the high-level tracking, monitoring, evaluation of non-state actors’ resilience-building efforts, providing a comprehensive outlook on the impact of the R2R Campaign partner initiatives, across a broad range of sectors, scales and action types. The event will illustrate the role and potential collaboration of non-state actors in the adaptation agenda, the urgency of accelerating and giving credibility to their efforts, and the contribution to this purpose of the international Race To Resilience (R2R) campaign, of the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions.
