A time has come that Earth observations will be the critical means for decision making for countries and regional bodies towards the sustainable management of resources. This session led by the Group on Earth Observations Global Agricultural Monitoring Initiative (GEOGLAM) and Digital Earth Africa (DE Africa) aims to present the new GEO NAP supplementary technical guidance on agriculture published in November 2022, successful use cases, as well as recent developments in natural resources monitoring, with a focus on African countries. Demonstrations of selected climate science and climate action tools will also be offered to participants.
