The session will provide a participatory dialogue with NAP practitioners and stakeholders to develop a better understanding of what NAP “implementation” entails, and highlight barriers, solutions and opportunities for enabling effective NAP implementation. It will consider key factors that contribute to the implementation of NAPs, including mainstreaming and financing strategies, potential barriers and solutions for effective NAP implementation, monitoring and reporting, and constitution of an informal network of NAP practitioners focusing on implementation.
