SESSION 2 (breakouts): APPLYING THE INTEGRATIVE FRAMEWORK FOR NAPS AND SDGS ACROSS SCALES, LEVELS AND ACTORS

Synopsis: Systems approaches are helpful in focusing assessments, actions and monitoring, and in improving the integration of adaptation across scales, levels and frameworks. The session will introduce the application of the integrative framework for NAPs and SDGs (NAP-SDG iFrame) across scales and levels, focusing on the role of different actors, in particular, non-state actors. It will discuss implementation strategies by looking at examples of adaptation solutions with a focus on how government actors can best interface with non-state actors, including with regard to the mobilization of resources and the application of adaptation technology. Discussions will be conducted in three parallel groups.
