SESSION 1: LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN THE PROCESS TO FORMULATE AND IMPLEMENT NAPS

Synopsis: The process to formulate and implement national adaptation plans (NAPs) is the main vehicle for adaptation planning and implementation at the national level. The objectives of the NAPs are: (i) to reduce vulnerability to the impacts of climate change, by building adaptive capacity and resilience; and (ii) to facilitate the integration of climate change adaptation into development.
