Lisa Robinson is the Senior Adviser on Resilience & Humanitarian Response at BBC Media Action. She leads on the organisation’s strategy and policy work within these sectors and supports staff to develop and deliver projects on food and water security, economic security, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response. She has been involved in a range of media and communication projects related to social and behaviour change and crisis response for over 15 years. Lisa was a co-founder of the Communication with Disaster Affected Communities (CDAC) Network. She holds two Master’s degrees in Global Media and Communication from the London School of Economics and from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School. Lisa teaches an undergraduate course on Media Projects for Social Change for the USC Annenberg School of Communication. She speaks English, Spanish, and rusty Portuguese.
