Veronica Lo Veronica Lo

Veronica Lo is an ecologist who has worked on climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable development for UN agencies and other organizations. As part of her PhD research, she is investigating the factors that impact coastal ecosystem services. Veronica previously worked at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, where she coordinated an initiative aimed at increasing awareness of the Rio Conventions and the connections between climate change, sustainable land management and biodiversity. Veronica has experience in marine conservation planning on the west Coast of Canada, working for the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, and has also served as an instructor for a web-based climate change science course at the University of British Columbia.
