Dr. Jacob Tio is a Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist in the Climate Change Office under the Climate Change Commission (CCC) of the Philippine Government. He is also the Chief Technical Advisor of CCC-UNDP-NZAP Project on Resilience Capacity Building for Cities and Municipalities to Reduce Disaster Risks from Climate Change and Natural Hazards, Phase 1 – Project ReBUILD. He is involved in the formulation of the Climate/Disaster Risk Assessment which is used as a mainstreaming tool for CCA and DRR into development plans.
