Dr Marcela Tarazona is a Senior Consultant at Oxford Policy Management, where she works in climate change, disaster risk and energy related issues. Marcela has fifteen years of experience bringing together work with academia – as a PhD at Toulouse School of Economics, a Research Associate at University of East Anglia, and Visiting Professor at Georgetown University and Universidad de Los Andes – with international donors, the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank, and policy advice from OPM. Marcela is the Programme Director of DFID’s funded Energy and Economic Growth Applied Research Programme (EEG). She also leads OPM’s work in climate change financing frameworks for the Action of Climate Today DFID funded programme.
