Mr. Tavanh Kittiphone Currently, I am working as a deputy director of climate change adaptation division, Department
of Climate Change, MONRE. My main task area mainly about implements policies, strategies
as well as national adaptation plan, ecosystem base adaptation, community base adaptation and
assistance to the Adaptation Fund Focal Point, also work with relevant sectors on how to access
to the Green climate fund etc. and mainstreaming climate change resilience as well as provide
accountability to the Department to supervise the Climate Change Law and how to adaptation to
climate change.
My duty is also the Project Manager of National adaptation plan and also coordinated with key
line ministries related to climate change comprised of: Ministry of Agriculture and Forest,
Ministry of Energy and Mine, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Public Work and
Transport, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and
Sport in order to increase resilience through concrete adaptation policy, programe and activities
