Mr. Freddy Soto Freddy Soto is a Project Specialist within the Division of Mitigation and Adaptation, focusing largely on the Simplified Approval Process.
Freddy is an economist, graduated from Los Andes University, he holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the IESA Business School and an MBA from Cardiff University.
His current work in the Green Climate Fund is mostly focused on public sector operations. He has experience working in projects in the Energy, Water and Agriculture sector.
Since 2022, Freddy worked together with the Climate Risk Early Warning System (CREWS) team at WMO in the development of the GCF-CREWS Scaling up Framework.
