Dr. Jiyoung Shin Dr. Jiyoung Shin is currently working at Korea Adaptation Centre for Climate Change (KACCC) in Korea Environment Institute (KEI) as senior research fellow at the KEI and she is former director of KEI KACCC (2021.2~2023.2). She is an expert in environmental ecology planning and adaptation policy making and implementation. She participated in and directed the National Adaptation Strategies (5-year cycle), action plans and monitoring and evaluation of adaptation progress. Currently, she is extensively involved in making Adaptation Law and helping citizens to know climate change adaptation. She got her PhD. and Master’s degree in landscape architecture at Seoul National University and a Bachelor in agriculture at the Korea University. She had been a member of urban plan committee for Gyeonggi province.
