Visa applications can be submitted online at https://evisa.gov.bw/#/ or at the nearest Embassy or High Commissions of the Republic of Botswana.
For the eVisa application:
- Attach all the documents as required in PDF format.
- Attach an invitation letter from the host or the UNFCCC invitation letter.
- Attach accommodation and flight booking details.
- Those with official/service and diplomatic passports to tick official (and to attach passport cover page, in addition to the biodata page).
- Those using ordinary passports should tick business and pay a prescribed fee of 50 dollars. (DO NOT SELECT TOURIST OR ANY OTHER TYPE)
