4.4.5 NAP Interactive Session: NAP Exchange: Lessons from Bhutan

Dedicated sessions, led by the least developed country teams, to showcase experience, best practices and lessons learned in accessing funding for implementing adaptation projects and programmes. The sessions focused on how countries succeeded in accessing funding for implementing adaptation, with a view to informing the implementation of NAPs. This particular session was led by Bhutan.

Representatives from Bhutan to present their experiences, lessons learned, and best practices in implementing their GCF NAP Readiness Project and how key lessons are used in accessing funding for implementation. They will also highlight the key roles of civil society organizations, the concept of the whole of society approach for adaptation and the engagement of the academic institutions as a strong pillar for science-based policies.
