This session will seek public comments on draft guidelines on implementation of NAPs that are being prepared by the LEG. As part of its work programme for 2022-2023, the LEG is continuing to consider how to assist the LDCs in implementing NAPs, including by developing technical guidelines for NAP implementation. The guidelines will also address the application of a full risk management approach to adaptation through NAPs. Three previous meetings under the NAP Technical Working Group banner have worked on the guidelines, and the LEG will now present a zero-order draft.
