The workshop will use an Open NAP case study for Malawi as a worked out example, to show how a country can advance the process to formulate and implement the NAP, building on past and current work in the country, and necessary synergy with relevant processes such as those relating to the SDGs, Sendai Framework, and efforts under other Conventions.
A field trip will be used to allow participants to exchange experience and discuss potential adaptation solutions (plans, strategies, projects, programmes, policies, etc.) for addressing climate change adaptation on the ground.
Demonstrations of available support for the process to formulate and implement NAPs for the region will also be included as part of the workshop.
