In 30 years Europe will be left without glaciers[edit | edit source]

All glaciers in Europe will melt by the middle of this century. This forecast was made by a group of scientists from the National Research Council of Italy. According to their report, the largest glacier in the Dolomites, Marmolada, located on the highest mountain of the same name in the northeast of the Apennines, will melt in 10 years. After conducting detailed monitoring using modern technologies, scientists found out that from 2004 to 2015. the glacier area has decreased by 30%. Approximately the same fate awaits all glaciers, primarily in Europe. [In 30 years Europe will be left without glaciers]
