Hope Mambwe Mrs Hope Mambwe Banda is a holder of a bachelor of science degree in Natural Resources Management. She is currently working for the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources (MLNR), Department of Climate Change and Natural Resources Management. Mrs Banda holds the position of Natural Resources Management Officer. In March,2014, with support from the World Trade Organization (WTO), she trained in Trade and the Environment. Focusing on Climate Negotiations in the UNFCCC, Environmental Goods Negotiations and WTO Dispute Settlement System.
Further, in May,2014 with the support of GIZ and the University of Cape Town, Hope underwent training in Access and Benefit Sharing from Genetic Resources and Associated Traditional Knowledge. This training concentrated on two types of negotiation approaches in ABS namely; Positional negotiations and Interest based negotiation
In July,2015 with the support of UNITAR and UNDP she trained as a junior negotiator under the UNFCCC for Least Developed Countries (LDC).
