Today, 11 July 2016, the NAP Expo kicked off in Bonn, Germany. Participants from all over the world found their way to Germany to discuss how national adaptation plans can serve as the main vehicle for adaptation planning and implementation which in the long term achieve the global goal on adaptation.

Abias Huongo, Chair of the Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) welcomed the participants and introduced them to the concept and the programme of the meeting.

Tomorrow will be the second and last day of the NAP Expo on UN Campus before the main event will start on Wednesday in Beethovenhalle, Bonn city.
