Julie Teng is a Technical Specialist on National Adaptation Plans at the United Nations Development Programme under the UNDP-UNEP National Adaptation Plan Global Support Programme and the UNDP-FAO Integrating Agriculture into NAPs Programme. She has been providing technical assistance to countries, especially francophone LDCs, to advance their NAPs, and more broadly to mainstream climate change adaptation into their planning and budgeting processes since 2014.
She has over 10 years of experience on climate change and environmental issues at UNDP and in NGOs in Africa and Europe.
Julie holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne (France), and a Master’s degree in Human Rights Law, with a focus on the Right to Food and Climate Change, from the University of Louvain La Neuve (Belgium). She is also completing a Master’s degree in Environmental Economics from SOAS (UK).
