Obed Koringo is the Current Regional Facilitator for Africa – Southern Voices on Adaptation, covering partner networks in Malawi, Ghana and Kenya. He is based in Nairobi with the host organization the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) – a continental coalition of Civil Society Organizations from diverse backgrounds in Africa.
He has over 7 years experience in climate change advocacy and adaptation at national and international level where he is also involved in supporting civil society organizations and partners across networks. He has previously worked as a Programme Officer with the Kenya Climate Change Working Group (KCCWG) focusing on policy issues and coordinating climate change advocacy and adaptation projects. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Project Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi and a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University.
