Elizabeth Willmott, Microsoft carbon program manager, is responsible for execution of the company’s carbon reduction strategy, with an emphasis on reducing Microsoft’s operational carbon footprint and incubating technology solutions for carbon reduction. She joined Microsoft in 2016 after a decade of work in the public and non-profit sectors to accelerate climate action and sustainability in the world’s urban areas, including co-authoring a World Bank guide for cities on how to prepare for climate change impacts.
